Vulcroid Archive // Recurrence Anomaly

Thirteen once echoed.
Recovered materials consistently identify the subject as the binding frequency of the five.
Kirofi moves.
Kokko keeps.
Manu breaks.
Vesper listens.
Vulcroid...
connects.
Where the others appear to carry isolated fragments of grief, instinct, memory, violence, devotion, or absence, Vulcroid somehow arranges those fragments into something coherent.
Music becomes message.
Message becomes memory.
Memory becomes myth.
And myth—

Archive researchers originally classified the subject's mask as concealment.
That classification has since been withdrawn.
The mask may not hide Vulcroid.
It may be preventing something from looking out.
Several high-gain scans detected unusual activity beneath its surface during transmission events. The patterns resemble neither facial movement nor known Caligan physiology.
One analyst described the readings as:
“Someone knocking from the wrong side of the face.”
The analyst subsequently requested reassignment.
No reassignment record exists.
Neither does the analyst.

Vulcroid has been identified in recovered material predating the formation of Vulcroid.
At first these appearances were dismissed as symbolic coincidence.
Then the Archive found the crow.
Not a crow.
The crow.

A black-winged figure appears repeatedly near the edges of records associated with the subject.
Sometimes carved into stone.
Sometimes painted onto machinery.
Sometimes represented by four letters:
C R O W
Occasionally preceded by two additional characters.
H.S.
No definitive meaning has been established.
The Archive currently recognizes several possibilities:
HISTORICAL SCRIBE
HOLLOW SIGNAL
HELIOS SEQUENCE
███████ OF █U█M█B█R█A
████████████████
█████████
